I am not sure what he took before the show, but wow. I have not seen someone that strung out since I saw Wilco live right before Tweedy went to rehab. I know he really brought it upon himself, but I can't help but feel sorry for him. Maybe he will wake up from his self induced coma in a few days and realize how fucked up this has gotten.

I saw that, too. I really wondered why Dave put up with it. He should have left Joaquin's wasted ass in the green room and had Terri Garr on the show instead.
